Great news from the Elections Department --
it looks like Gareth is a goner!
He turn in 3300 signatures for mayor
yesterday, and he need 3000. Jack Donovan always says only about
60 percent any good. I ain't no fancy talker, but I can do da
math -- I think Gareth finishes with about 2100 certified.
Beautiful! If there ain't no third
candidate, that means no preliminary election in September, which
means no debates with Maura until after Labor Day, if then.
Do you think I can get away with one
15-minute debate dis time?

How you get signatures when it pouring out and 40s
degree? Jesser sure made the right call dis time, sending
up all dem planes to keep seedin' da clouds these last few days.
